CD36, alternatively known as platelet membrane glycoprotein IV (GPIV), GPIIIb, thrombospondin receptor, collagen receptor, fatty acid translocase (FAT), and scavenger receptor class B, member 3 (SRB3), is an integral membrane glycoprotein that has multiple physiological functions. It is broadly expressed on a variety of cell types including microvascular endothelium, adipocytes, skeletal muscle, epithelial cells of the retina, breast, and intestine, smooth muscle cells, erythroid precursors, platelets, megakaryocytes, dendritic cells, monocytes/macrophages, and microglia . As a member of the scavenger receptor family, CD36 is a multiligand pattern recognition receptor that interacts with a large number of structurally dissimilar ligands, including long chain fatty acid (LCFA), advanced glycation end products (AGE), thrombospondin1, oxidized lowdensity lipoproteins (oxLDLs), high density lipoprotein (HDL), phosphatidylserine, apoptotic cells, βamyloid fibrils (fAβ), collagens I and IV, and Plasmodium falciparuminfected erythrocytes. CD36 is required for the antiangiogenic effects of thrombospondin1 in the corneal neovascularization assay (4). It plays a role in lipid metabolism and has been identified as a fatty acid translocase necessary for the binding and transport of LCFA in cells and tissues. 
 
【检验原理】
本试剂盒采用双抗体夹心ELISA法。酶标微孔板上预包被有抗人CD36抗体，当加入标准品和待测样本时，标准品和待测样本中的人CD36会和该抗体结合。洗板后，游离的其他成分被洗去，加入辣根过氧化物酶标记的的抗人CD36抗体可与被酶标板捕获的人CD36结合，形成“包被抗人CD36抗体+人CD36+抗人CD36抗体-HRP”免疫复合物。当加入TMB显色底物后，复合物上连接的HRP催化底物反应，生成蓝色产物，终止反应后变为黄色。在450nm处测定OD值，人CD36浓度与OD450值之间呈正比，可通过绘制标准曲线求出标本中人CD36的浓度。
